  1. xbox screen time limit question - only PROs please

    Hi,

is there a way to set up a screen time limit for myself as an adult? OR is there a way to setup family limit?

My son has been using my account and all his rewards are on my account and xbox live is on my account. So if I create an account for him he'll lose everything (which I know is the only way to apply screen time).

So i want to create an screen time limit for me - which he'll then be affected by.

    Is there a way?

    Thanks.

    :)

    XBOX One Screen Time Limit

    Dear Microsoft,

Was is so difficult to implement a screen time limit on the Xbox One Windows 10?

It's just a rhetorical question, though.

    Regards.

Parental Controls (Screen Time) and Netflix

I have set a screen time limit on my son's Xbox, but when the limit is reached for the day, he switches over to Netflix and keeps using his Xbox.

Is Netflix not controlled by screen time limits?

    You can do this.

I created a new Microsoft Account which became the parent account. Using Family Settings I then turned my original XBOX account into a child account. With a bit of fiddling I finally got it set-up and working. If I was to play outside of the screen time
hours I would key in my pin created from the adult account (which will never be used for gaming purposes).

The issue I've now found is that my son can log out and still play 3 rated games as a signed-out user without impacting his screen time.

I think that should cover what you need.

    Netflix & Screen time limits

    Hello Mummy,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question on screen time limits for apps. Unfortunately, the apps will not work as they can be signed out to watch them. For the

    screen time
to work they need to be logged into the profile that the time is set for.

Hope this helps answer your question.

    Brad
