    Xbox screen time in weekly activity report email not matching screen time in recent usage

    Hi,

    I receive a weekly activity report email showing my child's screen time per day on the xbox. I can also see my child's screen time within the Recent Activity section of my child's profile within my Microsoft family account. The problem is that the data
    sometimes doesn't match, i.e. for a given day the email will show one value but the recent activity within my account will show another.

    Has anyone else experienced this issue and know how to resolve it?

    Thanks,

    Jason

    :)

    Xbox One Family Activity not reporting App and Game usage

    The Activity section of the Family....it's not updating any data on usage as of recent.

    I've checked all settings on the Xbox, etc. but can't seem to figure out why we are not seeing our son's Activity.

    Any suggestions??

    Screen time limits are working just fine.

    Wie kann ich die Aktivitäten und Bildschirmzeiten meines Kinds auf der Xbox sehen? [Edit - Translation] - How can I see my kid's activities and screen times on Xbox?

    Hello Elderas,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. At this time there is no way to receive a weekly report of your child's screen time. You would be able to check log in activities by

    signing into the child account here
    and looking for "recent activity".

    However, receiving a weekly report sounds like a great idea!

    Xbox screen time in weekly activity report email not matching screen time in recent usage

    Hey jjcourag!

    There are a lot of factors that should be taken into account. Are you checking the emails and account at the exact same time?

    Maybe the account has used a little more screen time from the time the email was received to when it was checked from the site.

    Here are a few more details and information:
    Set restrictions for your child on Windows 10 and Xbox One

    Hope this helps.

    Hi George,

    Thanks for the reply. I'm noticing the discrepancy on days in the past where usage can no longer change. For example, if I look today at the period from Sun Sep 23rd to Tue Sep 25th inclusive I get the following data:

    Email report:

    Sun = 1 hr 41 mi

    Mon = 0 min

    Tue = 58 min

    Recent Activity in account:

    Sun = 1 hr 41 mi

    Mon = 0 min

    Tue = 0 min

    You'll see the reports match except for Tue, where the recent activity is missing data. I think this is a bug, how do I go about reporting it?

    Thanks,

    Jason

  6. Hi Jason,

    On the device, go to Settings > Privacy > Feedback & diagnostics, and make sure the level is set to Enhanced or Full. If it's set to Basic, child activity will not be reported.

    *Website activity will now be sent at the Basic level. Device and App Usage still require Enhanced or Full.

    Please check out the following link:

    This link discusses Family Safety but also has details on activity reports.
    I hope this helps ^‿^

    How do I see Xbox one activity by day

    Hi! I'm Luis, a fellow Xbox Gamer . Thanks for reaching us out here.

    Your child’s activity report is available on their tile on the Family screen. To see a more detailed activity report, select the member’s account tile, select the Screen Time tile, and then choose one of the following:

    Select Today at the top of the screen to see the member’s online activity for the day, including a breakdown of how they used this time.

    Select Past Week at the top of the screen to see a graph of a member’s online activity for the past week, including a breakdown of how they used this time and the average time that they spent on the console or Windows 10 device each day.
