Same issue here. Never happened before, then a few days ago it started. Not a HDMI cable issue. Sooner XO acknowledges the problem the better

 

Yes they know better, ok well...

I`ve talked to a Official Support, they told me to do that and give it further to others with this issues.

I would give it a try. Especially Step D) "Hard Reset" DO IT!! should fix it temporarily...

Of course you can wait until a XO Shows up, who give you another suggest. Or who will ask you what you have tried to Workaround and tells you to wait for next Update...

I would recommend the Hard Reset and check that cables fits well, TV Update

- If you have done that you can tell them what has worked or made it a Little bit better.

Also for them it would be clear that they have to fix the Software.

They will Need this Infos to sort out the reason of the Problem.

If you don`t try suggested Steps, knowbody can help you...

If you read my suggested anwser you will see Step D) and not only the suggest to Switch cables or ports.

I have the same problem for the last 4 months... I have spoken with Microsoft and today they have sent me a new console.

When I started, the problem persist... Just installing Halo Master Chief Edition. No matter the console, the problem persists.

I have tried a lot of things and nothing solves the problem. I use the console on a Philips 42 LED television.

The last thing I can do is to play for a long sesion in a LG 24 TFT, my second TV. I don't remember if I have had that issue in this TV.

One more thing to say. I loose image and sound. Last week I lost image for 2 seconds and when the image retuned, the sound wasn't returned until 30 seconds.

I also need to Play on a BenQ 24" Monitor which I^ve borrowed from my friend...

My Philips TV 42PFL6805h/12 does the same thing (short Blackscreen 2~3s econds and lost Audio for 3~5 seconds) like yours..

If I use my Stereo Headset the Audio will not be lost, just the Signals which will be transferred via HDMI are lost...

If I wanna Play on a 24" Screen I could Play on a PC with higher Resolution better Graphics and much better Framrate!!!!

Microsoft how can this happen? what is causing this Problem? TV is Full HD and it flickers in very wide time gaps (hours) so there need to be a possible fix!!

If it would be incompatible it would happen more often? isn`t it?

actually it occurs after 3 hours of gaming and than no more for next few hours...

If it would occur every 10 seconds or every 5 minutes I would understand but that way!! no?

sorry, I bought a Console for TV-Gaming and not for hanging on a 24" Monitor..

I could have way much better expirience on a 24" with a low Budget PC.. Common...

Hello. I have got something very important to say.

Today I have installed my new Intel NUC. It's a miniPC that I will use as a HTPC. So while I was watching a movie I have had the same problem. Just the same problem!!!

2 seconds blank screen without sound....

This means just one thin. There must be a bug/problem with de Philips HDMI. This problem doesn't occur in my LG 22 LCD monitor.

Microsoft sent me yesterday the new console to replace my original console. I don't know if the console that Microsoft sent me is new or repaired. In any case both consoles have the same warranty.

I have 12 days to send my first console back to Microsoft.

Now I have a doubt. I'm sure the problem is not Xbox ONE. The problem is the Philips TV. So which console would you send to Microsoft? The one that I received yesterday or my original console?

I hope this info can help anybody.

Microsoft Assistant Service have done a good job with my problem. Tomorrow I will try to speak with them and explain all. Maybe that can help them to solve the problem.
