    Hi, the built in screen recorder on my xbox is not recording sound - it records the picture perfectly just that there is no sound, i have noticed when i went live on twitch there was no sound on there too!. Does anyone know what is happening? Ive done
    alsorts like resetting the console turning it on and on and a hard reset , ive followed youtube videos and ive changed the settings and nothing still. Im guessing the latest update has messed it up? Ive never tried recording before until a few days ago thanks.

    Sir but I have tried few other screen recording software also, they worked smoothly on my PC with screen recording, mic and system sounds also. Then why not Xbox

    Ok sir, I got your point but sir just a last question, sir is there any third party software which can replace Xbox (a software which can record screen, record my voice and record system sound), I don't care which format it saves my recording to, but just I want a perfect screen recorder, if there is such a software, then please suggest me and I will be extremely thankful and grateful to you.

    if it happens again, open upload (not upload studio), return to the home screen, push the menu button on your controller and scroll down to quit.

    next time you scream "XBOX RECORD THAT!!!!!!" at you TV it should record with sound. worked for me :)

    Hi,

    The Windows Game Bar recording function isn't a screen recorder, it's limited to recording one game or application at a time. To record the whole screen you'll need a third party application.
