    Xbox screen not displaying on TV


    Hey guys, yesterday while playing Fifa and Call of Duty, my game froze on 3 occasions. The screen was stuck for over 5 minutes each time, so I decided to turn off my console for the night. I tried playing again this morning, but no display picture was coming
    up on my screen and the console would eventually shut off after 20 seconds.

    Any ideas as to why this has occurred? I have already tried unplugging and holding down power button/disc button and controller connector button but have had no luck.

    If you have a mess around with the Tv screen options it should be possible to get the full Xbox display onto the screen, it's just that your Tv is overscanning the display right now and cutting the edges off.

    HDMI Suddenly stopped working.

    So...

    I left both the TV and XBOX unplugged while I was at work today. Tried it again when I got home. I no longer have the TV's own blue screen with "not supported" displayed (by the tv)

    I now; after some initial static have a green screen being displayed by the XBOX.

    I've taken the XBOX to another room and it continues to function fine on another TV

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue with a blank screen. We recommend trying out the troubleshoot
    wizard for blank screen    . Please be sure to try all of these and let us know. If still having issue not seeing anything you may want to think on getting the console repaired. You can set one up on the device
    support page    .

    Hey Brad, thanks for the reply. I went through the troubleshooting and still no luck. Unfortunately the warranty ran out and I don't feel like spending another $150 or more to repair the console after having spent $500+ on console/games/headset/online
    etc. I just find it unfortunate that Xbox consoles keep failing me (Xbox 360 and Xbox One S) despite keeping good care of the consoles.
