Xbox Screen Goes Black After You Select Play Game on Disc

Thanks so much! I found a temporary solution for the issue. You unplug my ethernet cable or wifi device before the xbox turns on so that the xbox is offline. You should start up the xbox and play the game as usual. Once the loading screen of the game comes,
then you plug the ethernet cable or wifi device back into the xbox. This has worked for both me and my friend so far.

Check you local xbox live service status. There is an issue that is affecting all xbox 360 consoles for the moment. As of now xbox live reports:

Hey there eo.

To install the Disc 2 content, insert the Disc after Disc 1 is installed and return to the Home screen on your Xbox One. Once you're on the Home screen, select the install disc and install the content. Once everything is installed continue playing the game
with Disc 2. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Jasmine, changed to eco and games would play but no dvd's, done a soft factory reset, uninstalled and re-installed blu ray app, it played one dvd then back to same problem screen flashes between disc and black screen then press any button and the screen
goes black and only exit is to eject dvd and it goes back to home page, games work fine

I enter my account settings and check my downloaded games, from there o can choose to re-download or play, if i select to play the screen goes black like loading and after that it sends me back to the games i have on the console
