    Xbox Screen freeze


    After about two minutes into Destiny, there are certain textures that are 'dragged' across the screen, after 1-10 minutes with my console being on, the screen locks up, I can still hear the audio that was playing before the freeze, but the audio
    doesn't reflect any actions I take after the screen freeze. After about 10 seconds I hear the sound of pressing the center jewel (i suspect its the console giving me a popup telling me what error occurred, but because the screen is frozen i've been unable
    to see said popup) I'm unable to dashboard during the freeze, and I am forced to Hard-Reset my console by holding the power button for 6 seconds or by unplugging the power cable from the back of the console. I have tried cache reset, and all of the 'fixes'
    suggested by support under the 'screen freeze resolution page' and other users online, nothing has fixed it. The console itself is well ventilated, and after it started doing this I cleaned the console thoroughly with compressed air, and the problem remains.
    If there are any further suggestions it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. -

    Edit:I have tried other discs, and i have also tried 100% digital games, all have the same problem

    Does your XBOX360 freeze?

    I faced screen freeze problem 2 or 3 times, and it was because of the faulty game discs. But there are some other reasons that make your screen freeze while playing. Overheating is a most common reason. You may have a look in this article that explains it- Xbox Freezing Solutions.
