  1. Xbox screen flashing after snap

Starter: I was clearing out my camera when I found a clip on xbox going nuts...

Okay now this was about 3 weeks ago now, I was on friends when I snapped an app and then my Xbox had some sort of spaz attack for about 6 seconds.

I can upload the video to youtube if you guys at Microsoft don't want to give me an email add...

Note: I'm a member of the Xbox Preview Program.

If you want to see the clip I made on my camera I'm giving you 7 days before I delete the clip from my computer.

Don't post a reply if you are not official Xbox support!

    :)

  2. Hopefully they will.....

How about just say 'Xbox. Snap messages' or 'snap activities' you'll have it up on your screen in no time

    How to Use Snap

Snap allows Xbox One users to open multiple panes in a single window, allowing you to do things like watch TV and play a game simultaneously.

    1. To use Snap, press your Xbox button to go to the Home screen.
    2. Next go to the box labeled "Snap", which will open a snap sidebar inside your main window.

Do keep in mind that using Kinect you can simply say "Xbox Snap" or "Xbox Snap (insert app)" and it will work just the same. One example would be "Xbox Snap ESPN" or "Xbox Snap Internet Explorer"

    3. Next select the app that you want to Snap from the list that pops up. (This will open the app in a side window.)
    4. To close a Snapped app, simply return to the home screen and select Unsnap. Likewise on Kinect simply say "Xbox Unsnap"

To switch between a Snapped app and the main app or to control one over the other, use the Kinect Command "Xbox switch" or you can go to the Home Screen with the controller and switch between them. I find the best (easiest) way is to "double tap" the Xbox button to switch between them without having to go to the home screen or talk to your Kinect.

    Hey there Titan Overdrive!

Sorry to hear about the issue! If you haven't already, I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps:

    • First, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console has powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Wait a few minutes and then plug in your console.
    • Power on you console and try snapping an app to see if the issue continues to occur.
If the issue continues to occur, I recommend making a post in the Xbox One Preview Forums so that the proper folks can address the issue. Be sure to include the details of the issue as well as
any troubleshooting steps that you have tried. Thanks in advance!

    snap question

no, there is no way to hear what is in snap mode if you unsnap it. Snapped items can only be used/heard in snap mode (or if you take it to full screen after snapping, obviously)

    Netflix video freeze when snapped

also if you want to use netflix with a game in the Snap feature you have to first turn the game on then snap Net Flix after the game has been on for about 10 minutes once you snap Netflix it'll ask you to go to full screen pick the movie you want to watch.
start It and after it hits 99% snap it back to the corner it should work

Swap snapped app and full screen app capable or no?

I tried this yesterday and found out the same thing. "Xbox Switch" really means you can control the app in the main window or the snap window. NOT switch to full screen. You can make the Snap window full screen but you lose the big screen app. If any thing
I request the snap window bigger. IE is almost useless in the snap window size.
