Xbox Screen appears only for few dialogues boxes

Hi everyone,

I am facing an issue, where my xbox one s screen is not appearing. It appears for some dialogue boxes and sometime when I change resolution to 720P but it doesn't work well.

I tried resetting (10secs power button method) the console but no help. I tried changing on 3 different TVs and cable as well but nothing worked. Just to let you know I tried it on two Samsung smart TVs and one HP monitor.

I am able to get into menu and settings using the narrator options.

Green loading screen appears followed by a black screen. Any suggestions?

When I turn on my xbox one, the green loading screen appears for a few seconds, then the screen goes black. Any suggestions?

 

Upgrade to Xbox live gold

Yesterday I upgraded my xbox live , in the screen it is visible I upgraded for 12 months. When I go online , the screen appears: upgrade your x box live account. What can i do to go online ???

I find my xbox one s working while set on dvi and 640p resolution. But no display on 1080p and hdmi.

Just to add i am using samsung smart 3d tv aand also tested my xbox one s on 2 other displays.. one pc monitor and one more smart tv

If all troubleshooting failed then you may want to consider a repair. You can go over your options here : Device support

Unfortunately we don't have a repair/service centre in india. Also the link doesn't work.

 

Hey Vikas,

I see you've tried plenty of troubleshooting on your own. Before deciding if the console will need a repair, we suggest you try performing a

factory reset on the console. If you are having a hard time navigating the menus, try doing it manually:

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
4. Press and hold the BIND button and the EJECT button, and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

I did the same as you instructed. The troubleshooter window opens up and i could see that on my full screen but after i clicked on reset my xbox the screen went black and then i started using it with narrator and was siffling around the initial setup menu
like a blind man.

The outcome is that it didn't worked. I am 100% sure that it's not a hardware issue as it worked when i opened the troubleshooter window.

• When you try doing the factory reset, do you receive any type of error message?
• Have you tried a different HDMI cable?
• Have you tried
  Disconnect and reconnect your console's power cable?
• When using smart tv's, are you connecting the HDMI on port 1?
