    Xbox Scorpio Disconnect from Fortnite?


    Hey friends!

    So I’ve been having this issue with my Xbox One X Scorpio Edition, where whenever I go into a Fortnite Battle Royal match, I randomly disconnect from their server, and from the Xbox Live servers. It’s only momentarily, but it’s enough to remove me from the
    game, and the app itself.

    I’ve since gotten an entirely new router, with fantastic internet connection speed, new lines ran and everything. I’ve even consulted Epic, to assure it was not on their end. It happens both wirelessly, and Ethernet connected (cat6). My younger brother who
    lives with me, same connection, has no such issues on his Xbox One X.

    So TLDR; i disconnect randomly, it’s frustrating and it’s not my internet, or the game I play.

    Could it be my console? The Xbox Support route is frustrating for me, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to fix this without going through the warranty hassle.

    Slow and laggy/glitchy operating system?

    I received my project Scorpio edition Xbox , set-up ok, done updates, but wasn't expecting the dashboard to still be very laggy and unresponsive from time to time. I assumed that this would be fixed with the extra processing power, or is it an operating
    system issue?

    Also from time to time the controller disconnects from Xbox and I have to reset it. Will there be a future update/fix for this?

    Sorry to hear you are having trouble, it sounds like you are saying both consoles get disconnected from Xbox live completely, rather than the Xbox's are getting disconnected from online games in Battlefield and Fortnite. Is that correct?
