    Xbox says there are xbox live service issues, it doesn't tell me what they are: blank. and ...


    I wouldn't mind this but now I can't use xbox live services apart from messaging friends, seeing what they're playing ect.

    It says connect to xbox live in the corner on the home page, it says I'm am properly connected to the internet and my NAT type is open, so what could be the problem here? I can't sync online game files so I have to play local without saves and I've tried
    so many times hard restarting but no matter how many times I do it, it just wont connect. ( Modem internet connection is fine )

    (edit) I somehow had it working again but I went offline again a few minutes later with a upnp error so I changed my port and that fixed the upnp error but the xbox live problem started again. I do not believe this is a internet connection error, but a soft/hardware
    error for the xbox itself. Tell me what you think or help me with this problem, I haven't been able to go on xbox live for over a week now.

    currently there is a known issue regarding Purchasing & Content Usage which could very well be causing the issues you are experiencing.

    Please see this page with the latest update regarding these issues:
    https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status


    When the issue has been resolved please check if you are still experiencing issues.

    if so first try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

    Wow, I guess I turned the xbox on too quick after power cycling my xbox. Waiting 60 seconds before restarting it worked, thank you very much. I do appreciate it.

    Though the timing says otherwise, I know it was not the purchase and content usage because this has been happening for a week while the services were fine.

    Glad you got it all working again. As previously said there were issues at the time. Sometimes time is all it needs.
