    So I use a turtle beach x12 and one day when I was talking to a friend, my mic broke. I got a new cord but now it seems to not work well. I can't hear people through the headset option I have to use the play through speakers. Also, when my xbox has no
    mic in (completely unplugged) it says I have a mic in when clearly I don't. Do you think it's the headset and I need a new one to fix the problem or is my xbox glitched and buying a new mic won't fix the problem? Please help

    Mic is not working...

    My Xbox one mic isn't working, it says its muted and when i click it it doesn't go unmuted, any suggestions??

    Xbox says mic is in but it isn't.

    It sounds to me like it is a headset problem and not your xbox. I would suggest if you can plug in another headset even if it's the standard headset that come's with your xbox and see if you are still having the issue. If you aren't then you know for sure
    it's your headset.

    I have a turtle beach px21 headset and purchased the xbox one headset adapter. The stereo sound is coming through really well, but the mic isn't working with it. Is this a known issue or is my headset mic not compatible with the xbox one?

    It is possible too re-install an update and go to a previous version but the console cannot connect to Xbox live you can try this support link

    here    . I'd also like to say that the Mic can pick any words you say and isn't based off any language / country settings so it isn't the issue it's either your connection or have a broken microphone

    Oh nooooooo! It's not coming with a mic! So what. The mics that come with the systems anyways are garbage and if the Kinect mic isn't good enough for you... then buy a decent head set for $30.

    Like someone already stated. The PS4 isn't packaging one either. In that box it's the Console, power cord and controller. That's it.
