Xbox says I'm connected to xbox live but online won't work

In the network settings its says I'm connected and when I test my network/multiplayer connection it say everything is working good but the marketplace isn't showing and I cant play online games. Also on the home screen on the right hand side it says 'Connect
to xbox live' but when I press it nothing happens? Any way to fix this and be able to play online again?

Can't Connect to the Game

I'm having the same issue. On the One, it just says, "Connecting to Xbox Live..." and then it says that error message but I'm already connected to xbox live. I can play any other game on Live but it won't play Ghosts. Currently I just uninstalled the disc
and now I'm reinstalling it to see if that works.

 

My profile can connect to Xbox live but i can't play online.

Hello to anyone who sees this.

My profile says that it is connected to xbox (360) live, but as soon as I want to play call of duty. I will try and go online but it automatically says I'm not connected to xbox live. This is very frustrating cause I can restart the xbox, put different games
in and try my internet connection but the same thing still happens. I was playing online with xbox live the other day and as soon as I created a profile for my friend to play local with me it won't allow me to go back online.

Please help

 

Might be a profile problem , try this , go into settings and remove all the profiles , (make sure you have the email and password to get them back ) after you remove the profiles , shut the xbox down by holding the xbox logo on the console for 8 seconds
till it powers down , while it is off , unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds to clear them also , plug the modem and router back up and when they are online , turn the xbox back on , when it is all the way up . re add your main profile ...it may sit
there and sync a little while but all SHOULD be good afterwards ...

 

This has just started happening for me. It's the same for all profiles on the console. I'm able to use some apps like the BBC iPlayer with no problem, but games that require matchmaking and cloud access fail. Network test says everything is good.

I can even install games from the 'Ready to Install' section of My Games and Apps. Hopefully it's just some sort of service issue that will be resolved soon.

 

I have this already 2 weeks.. Did everything but nothing works.

It seems to be a big proplem my son ha this proplem to code 0x780 and no help to fix it

 

this has happened to me too for like 5 days now. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the recent update but it's super annoying. Nothing works and I'm worried I won't be able to download the new fallout 4 dlc when it come out.

 

I fixed the problem by signing out of my profile and then signing in again. It asked for the Xbox Live password and then launched the dashboard fully connected with no problems.

 

I can sign in on my account doesnt say anything about connecting to xbox live but as soon as i go to go on an online game it says your profile doesnt have permissions to go online ( grand theft auto , fifa and others ) help ???
