    Xbox Says I need to install Memory when I have enough


    Apologies if this is a silly/easy question.

    I am trying to play Lego Dimensions on my Xbox with my son.

    I have 2.7 GB free memory on the Xbox and 56.5 GB free on a memory stick.

    After the disc boots up, I gt a message saying I need to install 536 MB of data to play this game, and it recommends I install the Xbox 360 Hard Drive.

    Not sure why the game, or system, is not seeing that I have enough memory. I believe I have all the latest system updates as well.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    If your game is installed on the Xbox you may need to transfer it to the memory stick. This would be the case if the update is more than 2.7GB that you have free on the Xbox. Some games or game features will only work on an internal HDD, not sure if that
    is the case with the Lego game.

    My xbox 360 s is saying there's not enough memory when i try to download a game & to go to system settings to free up space but i did. I also went & bought a 500gb internal harddrive stuck it in & formatted it. it says i have 457gb of memory available...
    So why does it say i don't when trying to download a 256mb game?

    Download issues on Xbox 360 slim using 32gb flash drive.

    You need to install the install disc on your hard drive but you dont have enough memory. You can get some decent used hard drives at gamestop for like $35.
