Xbox says I have 3 unread messages but I don't?

My account says I have 3 unread messages that don't seem to pop up. It does this on all 3 consoles I have in the house. I've checked my 360 account and there aren't any messages on there. I've checked as far as I can on my box but that only shows the last
month's worth of messages.

Edit: Found out that in order for my messages refresh, I have to restart my console. Meaning I have to restart my console every 50 or so messages. Been going for 15 minutes now and only on January of 2020

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. Are you still having issues with unread messages? Make sure to check your messages from Xbox as these don't show up like normal chats.

i have battlefield 3 and when i put in the disk it would say unreadable disk and sometimes it would say play disk, and when i played the disk it would say "disk is unreadable" can somebody HELP

Hey there, Tye! This is an odd situation, but I believe that I might have an answer for you. Have you checked out your Friends page here on xbox.com? While it shows as a message, it may be a Friends Request that someone sent you while on the 360. Those show
as messages on the website, but will not show up as a friends request or message on the Xbox One.

Check out the Friends page here on the website, and get back to us! Hopefully that's where that hidden message is hiding.
