Xbox Says I Don't Have Xbox Live Gold But I Do?

Now I am having this problem about a month later all of you people have had it. Was this ever fixed if so what are the steps. I was playing destiny last night at 3am.. Get on this morning before work and says I don't have gold. Go to put more on and it says
you already have gold.... Wth...

wow 9 pages and no fix

it is definitely a known issue with microsoft and they do nothing about posting a fix anywhere for people to read.

Terrible company.

It has to do with there gold accounts not being updated with the console and all they do is give people new codes or something? It is very very fixable in about 10 minutes by clearing something in the network saettings but they dont share any info on how
to do it.

I wish i remembered how

I did it last time the customer service guy walked me through it and we got it working. After changing my Gamer Tag it has ahppened again. IT Is definately Microsoft verification system . I am going to toss this pice of garbage in the trash and get a real
console they just helped my decision. I hope Google buy s this trash company and closes it down for ever.

Yeah my gold membership has never been active on xbox1. Says its active till august. Well I just looked at this but it comes across as weird that my 360 sees my status still, but my xbox 1 does not. why did they change the way xbox verifies this? Seems
like a huge waste. Going to try some of the recommended fixes at this point and see what happens. At least there are a couple things I have not tired yet in the forums. Wish me luck.

I have tried those steps you listed on page 2 and nothing happened . This is starting to get frustrating. Spent 500 on an xbox one and 60a year for online membership for something like this to happen..... No . I don't understand how one of the buggiest companies
in the world can't seem to fixed this problem that hundreds most likely more that we don't know about are having. My money each day is being wasted each day I can't play online .....

please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Redownload your profile

If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at
