    I bought Xbox Live Gold, but it says I don't have Gold.

    I checked my transaction list and I bought Xbox Live Gold on 01/26/18, but now I'm getting the message to join Gold and I cannot play online or talk with friends in party chat. I have tried removing then re-adding my account onto my console, but that hasn't

    A few days ago I was trying to play Fortnite with a friend who I was already in a party with, but when I tried to load into the game it brought me to a screen telling me I needed to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold to play the game. The thing is, I have Xbox
    Live Gold, and according to my Xbox the subscription expires 2/19/2019. I tried loading into GTA online to see if Fortnite was the issue, but I couldn't play online there either. I then reset my Xbox, and when I tried to rejoin my friend's party, it brought
    me to the same screen saying I needed to buy Gold, and since then I've been unable to join parties. I've done some research and found people who have had similar issues that have since been solved, and tried replicating those solutions. I cleared the cache
    of my Xbox, which didn't work, then I removed/re-added my account to my Xbox, which also didn't work. I can't find anything else on the issue, so I decided to post here in the hopes of finding a solution to this.

    Does anyone know that if I just pay for another years worth of Gold, will it fix the problem, and will that years worth of Gold add onto my five months worth of live?

    Well things are looking up, on to customer support and within ten minutes they are going to cancel the gold of my account and issue me with a code, fingers crossed this works.

    shaggy2000 hello, i went on the live chat, after about 15mins he deleted my gold live subscription then give a code for the same amount of time lenght, enter the code , it started working again, its been 2 days and still working fine, online playing ghosts

    I'm finally back online! There was still an issue with trial memberships but I went onto a chat and got that fixed, and the service status report on xbox.com/status is back to normal.

    I got in contact with Xbox support. I was talking to them for an hour where they got me to do all the steps the Misses Quinzel put up after they didn't work the guy i was talking went for about 10 minutes and then just got this response " We’re aware of
    this issue now because other customer experiencing the same issue you have,and we're working alongside our partner to get this resolved as fast as we can. We appreciate your patience in the meantime,and we’ll update you as soon as we have more information."
    Then he just said that it will get fixed in a update that will make the Xbox one better. So i may try again tomorrow or just get a ps4
