Xbox says I didn't buy the game.

My friend recently bought a game on my xbox, however when he tries to play it on his xbox it says he doesn't own the game. He can still play the game on my xbox even though no one else owns the game or is sharing on that xbox. i think it may be because
he doesn't have xbox live gold one his xbox and just uses home gold with someone else. If this is the case, is there anyway around it so he can play it on his xbox?

Xbox says that I didn't buy the games I'm trying to play when I did

So I tried getting on watch dogs and then an error code showed up so I tried another game but then it said I needed an internet connection so I tried restarting my Xbox so after that it said that I need to purchase the games in order to play them when I
already did.

Didn't bought Battelfield 3 on Battlelog

The problem is that I can't log into Battlelog. It says I didn't buy the game...

If you friend is gamesharing with someone else chances are that the other home account has purchased the game although your friend is able to play the said game. To make sure your friend can check the purchases made through his account:

support.xbox.com/.../check-xbox-live-bill

Is your console in the Preview Program and his is not? The preview release has a new store, and purchases made in the new store can only be used on preview consoles until the new store is released to everyone.

I am in the Preview program and I purchased two games from the store on my xbox one, and I was able to download the games, but they do not show up as purchased for my account on xbox.com, and I had to chat with support just to get the orders even to show
up in my microsoft account purchase history. Even now the status of those two orders is "in progress". I'm hoping that it gets resolved once the new store gets released

Ahh. I figured it out. I bought this xbox used and was unaware it was registered for the preview program, and I haven't used it much lately and didn't notice the updates. Thanks for your help and I'll tell my friend he'll have to wait for the new store.

Have you used the same Microsoft account to login to the game, Microsoft Store and the Xbox app?

Our other option here is to reinstall your game or launcher. If it does the same thing, it would be best if you send a ticket directly to the Minecraft Team for them to investigate your issue properly. You may send a ticket here https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/request/new

To confirm, do you have the Minecraft Bedrock Edition for PC or the Java Edition for PC?

To make sure if you still are using the same account for gaming, check your account Gamertag via https://account.xbox.com/Profile if you see the same gamertag. If it's a different one, you may be signed in to an incorrect account.

Alternatively, try to sign out from Microsoft Store and Xbox app then sign in again.

I still can't access the game. I can get into the launcher but it just tells me to buy Java.
