    Xbox saying I'm offline when I'm in game but online when I'm not.


    So, this primarily happens when I'm in game on Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, however this still happens on Infinite Warfare - I appear offline when playing in Matches (I didn't set my self offline as my status message) as soon as I get out of the
    match I appear back online. During this time of me being offline I don't receive any invites, not notifications, I also can't record using encoded software for xbox. This all appeared out of no where, I've tried setting myself offline the online to see if
    that works, I've tried to update but it doesn't allow me to update. If anyone can help me that would be fantastic, thank you for your time.

    My Xbox says I'm offline when I'm not...

    My Xbox 360 doesn't connect to our wifi for some reason, but that's fine, because now I got Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox One, as a late birthday present from my sister. I've been playing non-stop for about 3 days with my friend and all of a sudden, it's been
    saying for him that I'm offline, although I am online and not appearing offline! So i went to my profile info and it said underneath my name 'last seen 10 minutes ago Grand Theft Auto v'. So i then clicked 'appear offline 'and it said 'appearing offline'.
    I could still play online, it's just that I couldn't join or invite my friend to my game and he couldn't Invite my friend and he couldn't join my game either! Please help me!!!

    Showing offline when I'm not.

    I keep popping up as coming o line every 15 minutes or so for all my friends when I have been online for hours. It show me as last seen playing Destiny 2 when I'm still online. I'm not appearing offline and I've changed my privacy setting multiple times
    and it still won't work. Anyone know how to fix this?

    2. Is this issue happening with other Xbox Profiles?

    3. May we have the exact error message prompted?

    Also, check the status of your Xbox Live Gold Membership by clicking this

    You can follow these steps:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Appear Offline When I'm Online

    Sounds like you have your settings correct. Other thing i would check is go to your gamer pic in upper left corner. Select your profile. There is 4 options on that pop up screen. The last one is if you appear online .. Offline... Or you are busy. Double
    check that and make sure its showing you online as well.
