    I bought a copy Battlefront 2 (receipt and payment in Jan 2020) - at the time I had a game pass, but when that expired two day's ago, so did my access to the game.

    Note: I bought the game, it was not downloaded as part of the game pass - I paid for it separately.

    Tried rebooting (holding power button for 10 seconds)

    Tried deleting and reinstalling.

    Grateful for any assistance.

    As stated in the first line of the request and repeated in bold therein ( and just for the 100% avoidance of doubt):

    I HAVE BOUGHT A COPY OF THE GAME -

    I do have the order number and receipt - would not be trying to get it to work otherwise.

    Hi There, thank you.

    It says "Choose the plan that's right for you" (Xbox Live Gold/ X Box Game pass)

    I have tried a soft reset/hard reset reinstalling and deleting the gamer tag and logging back in - same problem

    It will allow me to play as guest - but when I try to play as my profile, it reverts back to telling to"choose a plan...'

    also tried deleting the local app data and rebooting.

    I don't think the troubleshooting will help, the issue is mostly linked to the game's "license" in your account. It is highly likely that the game was actually downloaded as Game with Gold.

    However, since you confirmed that the game was purchased; I suggest please that you contact Xbox Support here: https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and please
    provide them with order number of the purchase from https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ -- Make sure
    please that you are signed to correct account.

    Dishonored DLC Issues

    I actually already have a US copy of Dishonored which I bought before realizing that it wouldn't work on a PAL console.

    The problem isn't the game, it's the DLC. I could buy it again from the UK store but 1). I don't know for sure that region locking is the problem. There was nothing on Xbox Live to indicate that it would only work on NTSC consoles & 2). I've already paid
    for it once, I shouldn't have to do it again.
