Xbox saying I don't have gold even though I do

I've had gold for about 6 years now and never had this problem. I try to play a game online and it says I don't have gold. So I use a code to get 2 days of gold and it tells me I do have gold. Then I try to play online and I get the same message saying I
don't have gold. My gold gets renewed every month on the 17th it just got renewed august 17th I am absolutely furious! I've never heard of this happening and I have no idea what to do! I've tried resetting my Xbox multiple times and nothing changes. Of course
this has to happen when the battlefield 1 beta is going on. What a joke! Any help would be appreciated I have absolutely no idea what to do

you show as gold on this forum , try and sign out of your profile , then right back in.

 

If Bimnog's suggestion doesn't resolve the issue the try signing out of all profiles on the console. Remove your profile from the console and perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power
shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational reload your profile and try signing in to live.

I checked, it confirms that I have Xbox Live Gold and that it expires on January 2017, but when I try to use online services on my xbox, I receive a message saying that I don't have Live Gold

 

You guys need to ring/chat with support and ask to have subscription ended and 1 month code emailed - just been on with 2 agents on live chat and it was only way to resolve after multiple hardware troubleshooting.

The free 1 month trial must have glitches so get pre paid code from support to fix it.

This just happened to my account the other day. I've tried the hard reset. My son, being impatient, bought a Monthly Gold plan this morning despite me telling him to deal with it til I got it figured out.

Now I have an active 12 Month Plan and a new Monthly Plan.

I've found no working solutions online.

I'm sitting here, at this precise moment, starting a Chat to see what happens.

And the Chat Ambassador referred me to 800-4MYXBOX
