Xbox sanction, yet no sanction?

For about a week now I have had a message on my xbox and on my phones gamepass app stating that I have a suspension on my account, except I haven't. If I go to the relevant page on the Microsoft website it states there are no suspensions in place and no history. This of course means I can't click a link to 'appeal' and the online helper is as useful as a chocolate kettle. Everything is working normally I just can't get rid of these damn notifications. I am in alpha skip ahead ring and wondered if this was a potential cause but that wouldn't affect the gamepass app would it? Any help would be very appreciated as I can't for the life of me think why I would be sanctioned!

It's possible that there may be an issue with your Xbox Live account that is causing the suspension message to appear incorrectly. I would recommend contacting Xbox support for further assistance. You can contact them via phone and live chat at support.xbox.com/contact-us.

It could also be a bug in the Alpha Skip Ahead ring that causing the issue, reporting it to Microsoft will help them investigate and fix it. It's also worth noting that being in the Alpha Skip Ahead ring can come with some risks, and there may be unexpected bugs or issues that arise while using it.

how is that even fair?It says that my sanction is completed,yet I can’t change anything?What’s going on?How is it that I was unfairly banned and my sanction is over and can’t do a thing about it?

Hi Alexandre,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, you will not be able to reach the enforcement team here on the forums. I recommend visiting our Enforcement website for all info regarding Bans/Suspensions. Once
you log in, click on the suspension and it will show the duration.

If you were suspended for longer than a day you can also submit a case review from the same website.

If you go to the
Xbox Enforcement website you will be able to review any enforcement actions received and if eligible request a case review.

Please don't forget when using your Xbox to be mindful of the
Xbox Code of conduct and
Terms of use and if someone sends you a message that is not appropriate do not replay to that message just report it.
