    My Xbox 360 s, which I bought second hand will recognize a game and say for example Play Halo 4 well I pushed a and it loaded to the games start screen where I was asked if I wanted to download the update for the game. Well I did and as soon as it finished
    downloading it said disc is not readable please wipe with a soft cloth and reinsert. I did and then it wouldn't even recognize the game as Halo 4 it just said Play Game which I selected and it shows that error message again and there's no error code by the
    way. Then say I put in Halo 3 it might recognize it on the dashboard, it might not. If it just says Play Game and not Play Halo 3 and I push X for Game Details it will take me to the Game Details screen and it will show the background of whatever game I have
    in the console, so it's recognizing what game is in it, but it says purchase for a certain amount. I only have the 4 gb hard drive that came with the console. I try reformatting it and it says a required storage device has been removed. Your console will
    now restart. I've tried using flash drives, but I haven't had any luck so far. I made the mistake of not upgrading when I've gotten the opportunity, because I believe it would work just fine, if I hadn't chose to download. I would buy the 250 gb hard drive,
    but I don't want to if it's not going to fix the problem. It will play DVDs and CDs no problem. If I try to play an original Xbox game it will recognize it on the dashboard, but when I try to play it; it says you need to attach a xbox 360 Hard Drive to play
    original xbox games. I've heard of using flash drives, but the biggest one I have is an 8gb which Halo 3 is supposed to take up I think like 6.4 so it should have worked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Did you have a Xbox 360 or Xbox One S? I'm guessing its 360 but wanted to double check. Chances are, you'll need a bigger storage device that the 4GB included in the console. I'm not completely sure what could be causing your issue but being a used console,
    it might be needing repair or replace with another console. Aside from that, I'm wondering if you need a bigger flash drive instead of 8GB. There should be some cheap 360 memory inventory.

    Clear local saved games, then uninstall the game. Hard restart and the download everything a gain

    Depends on the read speed of the Blu-ray drive. I did some research on Wikipedia and PS4's Blu-ray drive and found this...

    M hasn't released officially any specific info of the read speed for Xbox One of it's Blu-ray drive. Maybe it will also depend on the read speed of Xbox One's HDD? Whether it will be a 5400rpm or 7200rpm. I think both digital and disc should be around the
    same for loading times, since games from disc have to be installed for Xbox One just like digital downloads will also be installed onto the HDD.

    MW2 will not play

    The Xbox series X will not read the MW2 disc, I have returned it and tried 3 separate copies of the MW2 disc, the console will play other games/discs and read dvds/blue rays as well. But will not read any MW2 disc I insert into the console. The disc will read on my Xbox one. I installed it there and network transferred all the data to the series X and upgraded all the data that was transferred but the console refuses to read the MW2 disc.

    Cannot play any games with an X|S symbol.

    To be clear, did you buy a One S or a Series S? Does it have a disc drive?

    You shouldn’t get any upgrade prompts on a One S, X/S games will not run on a One S, if you upgraded the game to the X/S version, so if you have One S, you should decline upgrades
