Xbox S to Xbox X

Tuesday I will receive my Xbox X and resell my old Xbox S. Does the cloud keep all my infos? How can I check? Do I have to download anything in an esternal hard drive? I’ve got some digital games, am I going yo loose my progressionsor my savings? Thanks

A HDR game list for Xbox One S?

An Xbox One S will not download the game enhancements for an Xbox One X.

As it clearly states in the store "Xbox One X Enhanced", not Xbox One S.

 

As long as you're signed into Live, your account information and achievements are automatically saved to the cloud. If you have a lot of digital games, you can save them to an external hard drive and just connect it to the new console instead of having to
redownload or transfer the files. Once you sign into your account on the new console, everything on your account will move over and your game saves will sync up when you start a game.

Game saves and licenses are saved to the cloud for your account.

If you want to speed up being able to play your games on your new console, you can copy all your games to an external hard drive. Then when you get your new console connect the drive and all your games are there. You would only need to download any updates
that may have come out for them.
