Xbox s series doesn't want to load games and switches off on its own

I totally understand, however, the game has its own version that can be played on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S and the 360 version game is not backward-compatible, even if we want to it is not designed to be played on the Xbox Series X|S console.

Hello, As long as your son has his own gamertag it will sign him in. It doesn't matter if he never signed in on a 360 console it will still work. He will sign into his account on the Series S. It will automatically switch his account over to a 360 account when its time to play the game.

You cannot transfer purchased game discs to the Xbox Series S. If you own an Xbox Series S and want to play games that you own on disc, you'll need to purchase them again from the Microsoft Store. If you plan on playing disc games, you may want to get the Xbox Series X instead of the Xbox Series S, as it has a drive.

The point: I own the game (which Bethesda have said is fine to update to the latest version)

I should be able to get latest version because I own the game. Am I right?

I just wish you would make the sensible decision here and not just throw proforma paragraphs at me. It doesn't work on me.

I WILL NOT buy the new version. This is unfair.

I had the same problem but loading stopped at about 75%, tried switching off and hard reset nothing happened, then while I was reading up on problem, xbox switched itself off and did its own hard reset while I was on loading screen, came back on told me
ubisoft servers were down, able to then load the game and it worked so for me not having the servers up allowed me to load game, thank goodness as there would be no way I would be starting the game again.
