Xbox s capture issues

I've been trying to capture clips on my Xbox S on games I know I have been able to capture on before, but there isn't even a quick button to do so anymore and any time I try to manually hit the record what happened option I'm given the same error.

"We can't capture now. Check back soon (0x82323023)"

I've tried the trouble shooting guide of restarting the console, my capture cash is completely empty, I disabled the capture option, turned off theXbox, turned it back on and re-enable it, and I even tried a hard reset.

Nothing is working!

I'd love to be able to go back to capturing clip. I'm missing out on so many of them because of this issue.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps. We may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps, but this may delete any game clips that are not yet uploaded to the Xbox network.

"Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."

This seems to have fixed the issue, I just got everything set back up and loaded up a game.

The quick x button has returned and I was able to capture a test clip.

Funny how I haven't had this issue on my xbox one x ever but when I go on my xbox series S then it just starts having the lag spike issues with my captures.

Why are you wanting to capture at 4K? the Xbox One S doesnt render any game at 4k, so all you will be doing is capturing an upscaled image.

It seems to me like you're trying to record your xbox 360 gameplay, correct? If that's so, you can't connect your xbox 360 to your xbox one via HDMI in and record through that as the xbox one can NOT record anything coming into the HDMI in port because of
legal issues with protected content like cable TV, etc.

You will need an external capture device that has an HDMI in and OUT and a USB connection to a PC and software included to record it on while you play it on a TV, separate from your PC screen. The ElGato HD60 or HD60 S or HD60 Pro can do this. See their
