Xbox S and X, syncing content / saves / progress and online purchases

My child has an Xbox S and an Xbox X.

They are located in two different houses.

He'll only be playing one at a time obviously.

He plays a lot of Fifa online and plays in various leagues with ultimate team.

He says that the two xboxes don't sync up and if he buys players on one xbox they sometimes don't show up on the other console

Is there anything obvious that could be causing this?

If your child is playing on two different Xbox consoles, make sure that his game saves and progress are properly synchronized across both devices. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:

1. Check that both consoles are online: In order to sync game saves and progress across multiple consoles, both consoles must be online. Check that the consoles have a stable internet connection.

2. Check that your child is using the same Xbox Live account on both consoles: Your child should be using the same Xbox Live account on both consoles to ensure that his progress and purchases are properly syncing.

3. Wait for synchronization: It can take some time for game progress and purchases to sync between consoles. Because the data is still syncing, your child may not see his most recent purchases or progress.

In answer to this question, no, you will not lose any games or game progress. You just need to sign in with the same account on the replacement console. Any digital content you purchased will show in your 'Ready to Install' list for you to download again.

As long as you were online during your last game session, the saved progress data will be uploaded to the cloud and will sync back to your replacement console when you start your game/s.

Yes, also your progress is stored online on the xbox one cloud servers (while you save while online) if for some reason you lose the saves. If you lose the saves, the next time you play the game it will say "syncing data..." and then it downloads your save
game.

If I do that it is not going to reset my online games data right ? i mean that as in ill Still have all my progression in online games saved?

Your progress is saved doing this and it's also on the xbox servers to sync with. You don't lose progress.

Remove the account in which the code was redeemed. All his content is linked to his account so nothing will be lost (saves, online progress, achievements, purchased content, etc.)
