Xbox running fine until recently, now its slow even in System functions

My xbox was running fine until recently then one day it can not load anything in a timely manner, including system functions that should be offline. I have removed ny account and added. I cleared the cache, already soft reset, hard reset through the system and done the power button then unplugged it. I have even cleaned it with cans of air. Another thing it will sometimes run fine again for seemingly no reason. Not because of its orientation or tapping it, my cords or even my internet. I have no idea whats happening. Is it time for a completely new console or will a simple a hardware fix do the trick. Also what would be the price of a hardware fix and where can I take it?

I see you are having issues with your console's system. I understand how frustrating this can be, let me assist you with this. As far as troubleshooting goes, you've done almost everything you could have, so kudos to you for that. You may want to try performing an OSU (Offline System Update) as a last resort:

I uninstalled, reinstated and now its downloading. It's very slow, don't try to start the game until it gets to 100% even though its gonna take a year!!!!!

Now my xbox is running slow as hell as if its bogged down or something. I did hold xbox button and restart. Its now just sitting there running with the light white and solid. No picture on the tv.

Its hit or miss with that function.

Sometimes even with messages messages if you hit the button too slow you have to scroll to them.

it will run slow too once you have things open at same time.

if im gaming and i open a movie, it will burn more ram, if you then leave that movie running coz you forgot it was on and game your system will run slower,

its now just a pc under teh xbox name.
