Xbox Rewards to Gift Card Query

Hi,

Just a query regarding the exchange of Xbox rewards for gift cards.

I just exchanged points for 2 x $25.00 gift cards that said they'd get emailed to my "primary email" account (I recall it saying).

I log in with an old redundant ISP email address which I no longer have access to. But I have changed the internal details to a new one which I have been receiving receipts of purchased games. The gift cards haven't arrived as yet, but I am wondering if
it would go to the correct address (same as receipts for digital purchases) or the old one (which is my login/username email).

Keep in mind that Xbox Gift Cards are now deposited directly into your account when you redeem the points, so you're no longer emailed a code for those. So you may also want to check your account balance at http://commerce.microsoft.com to
see if they've been added to your account

As far I as can remember, whenever you submit the order using your MS points, there is one last confirmation screen that shows you the email address where the rewards will be sent. Do you remember seeing that last screen, and which email address was entered?

It suppose to go whatever account you use the points on. Keep in mind it isnt instant and I belive it tells you it xan take up to a few hours but the good thing it goes directly to your account. You will see the credit to your account.

I had this same issue a little while back turned out it went to my old email after a few calls and a few security questions tho I had it sent to my recent email.

iirc you can request it to resend the codes
