    Xbox Rewards says my account is not gold, but xbox.com says it is and it runs out in 2018


    Hi.

    When I look at my rewards pages it keeps prompting me to "go Gold". My rewards dashboard says my account is not gold and I'm only getting 3% cashback instead of the 6%.

    The thing is I purchased my gold renewal through the dashboard so it never lapsed and it's due to expire in march 2018. My xbox says I'm gold and xbox.com says i'm gold

    Is it a bug that will go away and will the cash back on my purchases this month be calculated at the correct percentage?

    Xbox Live Rewards says I'm not a gold member but I've been one for several years. I signed up for Xbox Live rewards several months ago but I just started looking at it online. I tried to sign up for my achievements but it says I'm not a gold member. Xbox.com
    says I'm a gold member and everywhere else it says I'm Gold but Rewards says I'm not. Please help! Thanks, Hunter

    Apologies for the inconvenience. We are currently investigating reports of subscriptions not being processed correctly due to some new functionality. Can you recall when you made your most recent subscription, and what type of subscription that was (12-month,
    1-month, etc.)?

    Sure, it was a 12 month subscription purchased through the dashboard on the 5th March

    Im having the same issue. my gold hasn't expired in years but my rewards account says i'm not gold either.

    Hi. Is this still ongoing? My account on xbox rewards is still showing as 3% and not the 6% for Gold and it keeps prompting me to "go gold" on the website.

    Apologies for the inconvenience. There is currently an issue with some preview program members where new subscriptions are not correctly recorded. This was due to changes for those members in how subscriptions are stored in the database. We have resolved
    the issue, and subscriptions are now being properly reflected. We were also delaying MyVIP for April until this issue is resolved, to ensure that you are rewarded at the Gold level, and are now working on verifying this payback for affected users. Again, we
    apologize for the inconvenience caused by this delay.

    Since you opted in to the Simply Rewarding offer in March, your purchases went towards that offer instead of MyVIP payback. As specified in our FAQ, you cannot be Rewarded twice for a single purchase:

    In addition to our special events and offers, there are two easy ways to earn Rewards Credits each month; by completing missions or special offers, or with a MyVIP Star Rank. To see current
