    Xbox rewards rank broken.


    My reward rank has not been adding up for what seems like years. I have been a member since 2/14/2012 and I am still only rank 2.. I have spent £2.175.23 since 15th November 2016 I am yet to calculate the rest. I have been robbed of 10% of my cash back on
    my purchases.

    Microsoft rewards based on MyVIP rank

    So news broke in 2018 that xbox rewards would be converted to Microsoft rewards. Please explain how you can justify our new points per dollar reward based off of our MyVIP rank as of September 30,2017 and not 2018, I am hoping this is a typo because if
    not its complete ****.

    Hello death metal jay,

    MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015
    and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017). Also, please note that as stated in the FAQ, pre-orders and consumables are not eligible for MyVIP:

    What content can I earn a % back on purchases for?

    Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify towards your MyVIP Star Rank and % back on purchases, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes,
    movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, subscriptions like EA Access and Xbox Game Pass, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points
    or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

    MyVIP Star Ranks are not part of the Microsoft Rewards program. If you are an Xbox Live Rewards member with a MyVIP Star Rank and you transition to Microsoft Rewards, you will receive special benefits in Microsoft Rewards for a promotional period through
    December 31, 2018. Click here to learn more.

    Since we have not yet transitioned to Microsoft Rewards, there is no reflection of your MyVIP Star Rank in Microsoft Rewards.

    Reach didn't have a true skill system... It's ranking system was so broken that it was disabled for never working which was in Arena. It was the most terrible ranking system in history.

    Is the ranking system broken?

    As you get more pts from playing against higher ranks, you will actually find that your rank up matches come more often against them. Not because it matches you against them purposely just because that's the amount of pts you need to rank up.

    The opposite can be said for rank down matches.
