Xbox Rewards points deposited, but money did not reach my MS account balance. Help please?

A deposit of $14.40 was "deposited" to my MS account on Jan 11th. My MS account never received the money, however. I chatted with MS support, which pointed me here.

You're actually going to want to post this in the Xbox Live Rewards forums for the best help. There is a dedicated team to Xbox Live Rewards who can assist. before doing that though, make sure to sign in to
commerce.microsoft.com where you can review your balances and see when the rewards were depositied into the account. That information will help the team assist you further.

You will have to check commerc.microsoft.com

Now if you recently migrated your region that would be why the Rewards points would be from the other region

And would be deposited in the wrong currency

This is not changable

You would have to resign up for Rewards unless the new region isn't part of the Rewards program

Also if you didn't migrate then you can see where the money went

 

currency doesn't transfer between regions fyi

There hasn't been a migration between regions. I'm in the USA and haven't switched to somewhere else.

I chatted with the help desk at "commerce.microsoft.com" before coming here; they sent me here. The help agent "Jeff" confirmed that he saw the payment in my transaction history AND he confirmed he saw the money never made it to my MS account balance. Jeff
seemed to think this was the place that would be able to fix this. Is this not the place? Is there a better place to go?

If the Rewards site already shows that the credits have been deposited, then they no longer have access to them. You would have to continue working with support, specifically billing.

 

Thanks for your help. Billing figured out. This issue was caused by how the Billing site (Order History) combines payments into lump amounts before allocating money towards pre-orders of games. The help agent had exact info that allowed him to clearly track
down the $14.40. This was all hidden (simplified) on the public site. Thanks again!
