Xbox rewards for purchasing consoles

• I just got the Xbox rewards app on my Xbox one x and I saw that if you buy an Xbox one x you get 50k points so I was wondering if I get the points because I own one already or would I need a whole new one? maybe there is a code or something to put in?

Not being given credits for purchases

For help with Microsoft Rewards credits, you will need to contact their customer support. That program is completely separate from the Xbox Rewards program.

The only way to receive Xbox rewards credits for purchasing a console is if you are a 360 user (meaning you've never used One), and upgrading to a One. If that is the case, you should see credits pending about 15 business days after the console shipped.

 

I didn't get reward credit from buying Rogue One

I also did not receive my point reward for purchasing Rogue One on Xbox.

 

That's actually for the Microsoft Rewards program, not the Xbox Reward program. For help with that program, you would need to contact their customer
support. Generally in order to qualify, you have to make the purchase during the offer period in order to qualify.

 

Do you know what the offer period is for the Xbox one x promotion?

 

It started when the app did which was May 29, 2018. I don't know when it will end.

 

My assumption much like other promotions within the rewards app is that it would need to be purchased clicking through the promotion and buying within the Xbox store. The terms of service does not explicitly explain this either but
since there is no way to input your console purchase as a viable means to obtain the rewards it would stand that the only way to receive the rewards points are to follow its specific link and buy a new one x within the Xbox store. This same issue has happened
with me on several occurrences with games I have recently purchased and later a reward is set for buying the game but I have no way to redeem them as I purchased the game previously and not through the rewards application.
