    Xbox Rewards does not recognize my gold membership


    In MyRewards it tells me that i could be getting more if i go gold (specifically in the % back) but my account has been gold for many years. I have even paid a couple months in advance to see if that would fix it but to success. Is there a way to update
    it or anything cause i hate the idea of losing points.

    Xbox Rewards does not recognize my gold membership

    Hello ZeroTheeHero,

    It takes us up to 96 hours to process new information. This means when your previous subscription ended, and we were loading your renewal, there was a period where you did not see your Gold status. We see that we have since loaded your renewal, and the prompt
    to go to Gold is no longer on your MyRewards page. Apologies for the confusion.

    We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:

    As per the Xbox Live Rewards FAQ, trial memberships may not be eligible for Xbox Live Rewards. See here: "Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership,
    we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member."

    Purchasing an Xbox Live subscription while on a trial SHOULD add the remaining days of the trial to your subscription. I'm not 100% certain on that though.
