    i have massed quite a few points in my xbox rewards account but i cannot convert them. when i log in to the rewards website it says that my account needs updating. any ideas as to what this could mean?

    I already have a Windows Live account, but it seems that I haven't heard about the Xbox Rewards Program so far. It's surprising that a lot of you guys haven't tested this program either. I guess it just goes to show that real gamers don't need rewards. The gaming experience is valuable enough for us... xbox rewards account needs updating? :p

    Has anyone else got $6.00 free from microsoft on 360?

    I was going to purchase a few games from xbox live on my 360 and I went to add a credit card and saw that for some reason that microsoft put $6.00 into my microsoft account and thought that was just from the rewards program. But I happen to check another account on my xbox 360 that i didn't even use the rewards program with and have just purchase one game with that account and it also has $6.00 in that account also is Microsoft given out $6.00 to us or what is the deal?

    I have the same problem. It says that points cant be deposited because my account info needs updating but, all of my info is correct and up to date. I dont know what it wants me to do?

    After reviewing your accounts, it appears that you are currently being affected by a known database issue which is interfering with the information on your accounts. What is happening is that your billable account information is being incorrectly communicated
    to our servers. Since this data is necessary to determine where to place your deposit, the process is aborted. Since this issue is currently being caused by a database not under our control, we have escalated the problem, and it is currently being worked
    on by another team. At the current point in time, they have not yet provided us with an approximate solution date. We apologize for the inconvenience, and ask for your patience while our other team works on a solution.

    There is currently an internal issue with the data stored for your account which is preventing a deposit. Essentially, our deposit process cannot correctly determine the primary billable account to deposit into for your Microsoft Account, and thus aborts
    the process. This is an issue that we are working on resolving with another team, since we are not able to fully access the database containing billable account information. At the moment, we have not received a estimate on when this problem will be resolved.
    To be clear, this is a data issue, and not the result of any faulty user input, so adjusting your information will unfortunately not have an effect. Your deposit may have successfully completed due to the efforts of this other team, but at the moment, they
    have not yet permanently resolved this issue, so it is continuing to persist. We apologize for the inconvenience.
