    Xbox Restoring


    In order to find a solution that would fix my problem. What happens is, my xbox could be working fine while playing a game like Forza 6 or NBA Live, or Madden. But everytime i would try to jump into a popular game (such as Foetnite or APEx, mainly BR games)
    my console will just crash for no reason. I have tried reinstalling the games milions of times and had only had so much luck, i i ha rried hard resetting, and full shutdown but to no avail, i still get this weird crash with my original xbox one. Like my whole
    console will [Mod Removed- Inappropriate] down. No error codes. No overheating message (i know for a fact itsi not overheating).

    The thing i have not done is doing the restore xbox thing and keep my games and apps. I did not really want to do this though because imI currently gamesharing with my cousin and he doesn't exactly know how to deal with emails and all of that. Is there any
    way i can keep the accounts, or... Am i just out of luck?

    Change the console settings so it doesn’t turn off automatically

    1. Turn on the console.
    2. Press the Xbox button
      to open the guide.
    3. Select System > Settings > Power.
    4. Select Turn off or restart.
    If you follow these steps but the console continues to get hot and shut down, request a repair.

    Unfortunately i do not have one. But after restoring the console i i have yet to experience the issue again.

    Do you use an external drive? If so I would recommend moving a few of the games to the different storage, and testing if it still happens on the new drive. I would also test putting it all on the internal drive, completley disconnecting the external drive
    and testing if it still has problems when running without it connected. That could rule out if it's an issue with the storage device in or attached to the console, or if the issue lies elsewhere. If you give that a shot, let us know what happens so we can
    provide some further troubleshooting steps to try!

    After restoring the console, I have yet to experience the crash again. Im not sure if it'll do that in the future but yeah, hopefully we all good
