  1. Xbox restored after service

So I recently sent my Xbox in for service because the disk drive no longer worked. After 3 weeks I get it back only to find out its a refurb.

My xbox memory was full when I sent it in. 500 gigs of games/saves all gone. Now I have to redownload EVERYTHING. On a whooping 1mbps internet which is the best in the area.

After being a Xbox fanboy for years this is it. I'm done. I'm beyond *** at the casual disregard. I promise you, I will never buy another Microsoft product again.

    Xbox restored after service

Sorry to hear you're upset. However, when a console is sent in they either send you a new one or refurbished one. This way they can get to repairs on the console you sent in when they are able to.

To prevent this from happening in the future I would recommend getting an external hard drive. You can add a USB 3.0 drive ranging in size from 256GB to 16TB for storage for your games.

Upgraded to gold but still can't use the service

After a few hours live service has been restored, now I'm gold and xbox can connect normally to all the live services, it seems that was due to a problem with either xbox live or billing services.
