Xbox resets when disk inserted

Hi Khaji,

I can confirm the following:

Cleaning the disk: Make sure the disk is clean and free of defects.

- The disk is clean.

Correct disc insertion: Make sure you are inserting the disc correctly into the console. When you place the DVD in the console, the artwork should face up

- The disk is been inserted correctly.

Try another game: Try starting and playing another game on your Xbox. If the problem occurs only with a particular game, try reinstalling the game on your device

- I have tried another game disk, and the issue continues. The other disk is also clean.

Check Xbox status: Check the Xbox status page. If you see any services with alerts, wait until the service is working again

- There are no services alerts relating to this issue

Play the game offline: If there is an Xbox status alert, you may be able to play the game offline until the service is back up and running

- Disk games cannot be played at all as disks cannot be read

Console reset: As a last resort, perform a system reset and choose the "Reboot and delete everything" option

- I would like to avoid doing a console reset

does anything apear when you insert the disk? and when you dropped it was there any disks inside the console? if you can not hear anything moving inside then i would say hard reset and blow air into the slot however if you can hear movement inside do not
reset or blow air inside as this could cause more damage and i would recommend sending it in for repair

if there was a disk inside when it was dropped check the disk for any damage to see if theres any remaining inside the console

Mine takes a while. And alot of the time it still says insert disk even when there's a disk in it

From my experience with 360 no beep sound when you open the disk tray to insert or eject disk...

You must download the Xbox one compatible version. The disk is only a key, the game does not play off of it. You should be prompted to do so when you insert the disk
