    Xbox reset issue


    My xbox one over the past few weeks has been acting slow or not starting games. At first when i just turned it off and back on it fixed the issue of the games and apps not starting but when that didnt work i had to restart my xbox but when i do that now
    it sits at the reset screen for close to 30 minutes sometimes more and when it "finishes" it sits at a black screen and i cant do anything. it is getting really frustrating because it does this often. I just want some help, i would try the chat with xbox support
    but its my dads phone number and he is currently at work and idk if i tried to add mine if it would do anything to the account

    Weird Glitch

    I have had the tv issue where it says it took to long to find the tv. The only thing so far that fixes that issue is the cache reset. You dont need to unplug, cache reset will do the same thing. I find this usually happens if i switch my tv with the xbox one from the xbox to a dvd player using another hdmi port on the tv. When i go back to the original xbox hdmi on the tv, it loses the pairing with the tv causeing the tv took to long error. Resetting cache or unplugging is the only known fix so far. Have not had the other issues you mentioned.

    Faulty Kinect - seems a common problem

    Have put my dodgy Kinect on my sons Xbox and it appears to work fine on his!

    Not yet connected his Kinect to test it on my Xbox but will later.

    Guessing it's an issue on the machine and always thought it started playing up after an update. If his is the same I may opt for a factory reset..... Has anybody with Kinect issues resolved by a factory reset?

    The game captures should still be there if you uploaded all of it to Xbox Live, however, the accounts will get deleted during the factory reset procedure. You will have to sign in to the accounts again.

    You can check if you have been uploading game clips to the Xbox network if the following setting is turned on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & System> Settings > Preferences > Capture & share > Automatically upload.

    The other option to identify if you have been uploading to the Xbox network is you can view your game clips using the mobile or PC app.

    Regarding the issue of not being able to view your account information. Please try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

    Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

    Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

    When you're finished, select Close. Power off the console for 1min. Power on the console then click Gamertag pic

    Select >Add New>

    Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add.
