    So I bought a day one edition xbox. I got it, it worked great out the box, about 6 months in the kinect stopped working. Then about a month ago it stopped playing blu rays and games. So I sent both the kinect and console in for repair. First time I have
    done this in my like 11 years being an xbox customer. I bought 4 360's and 2 original xboxs when the consoles gave out. Today I received in the mail a NON day one edition console....disappointed but then I figured oh well I can deal. So I plug the xbox one
    in, the kinect get it all set boot it, it goes black after the green screen. So I call support, after 2 different attempts they finally said okay we will send you a new shipping label ship that one back, and then we will repair or send a new one. Now I get
    to wait 1 week to get the shipping label, 2-3 weeks processing and another week to get it back, not only that but the first person I spoke to, raised his voice and gave me attitude while i was polite the entire time. Now when I called, I waited on hold for
    37 minutes before the phone went off the hold music then promptly disconnected. I am thoroughly annoyed with the whole experience. I think that's why I always bought a new console before. I can say this I think this is the last console I will ever buy from
    microsoft. I really feel that SOMEONE should contact me about this entire situation. I am now xbox one less for over a month, looking forward to another month, spent 1/2 a day with support being no help, hung up on, treated rudely. Its extremely poor customer
    service

    Honestly at this point I'd take my broken day one edition back...at least I could use it for dvds and netflix.....

    have a broken 360, that iirc got the RROD. i imagine the cause is this thing

    . would replacing this part do the trick, or would its failure/breakage, caused more things to go bad?

    this thing has been sitting for years now, so i just wanna see if i can fix it easily/inexpensively. if not, its trash anyways.

    thanks for reply...i click on "problem with device".... then select my registered xbox slim with the serial code, etc.... then "console will not power on", then i click next

    then i get this message on the following page

    "Request Service

    Sorry, we are unable to process your request at this time.

    An error occurred. Please try again."

    sometimes i get the next page though with my details on. i select the option of printing a label off and click next, and i get a similar message, with an error message,

    "An unexpected error has occurred.

    Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.

    and yes, im using that service centre link you posted :)

    i tried talking to someone before, they were quite helpful and said another more qualified person would phone me in a few minutes, but no one has phoned me as of yet. also i was given a free t-shirt for my avatar as a gift for my problems but that link gave
    me a message saying i found a glitch, lol...not having much luck! :(

    If you can not handle a claim through the Microsoft official site, call Microsoft Technical Support, your country, by phone. And make a request by phone. Prepare the serial number for that. And a description of the error.
