    Xbox repair


    So I used my Xbox One X warranty and sent it in for a same unit fix or replacement and it was my first time doing so. Well anyways I sent them my console, wires, and controller because that's what came with and I figured they would test all in the repair.
    I received my package this morning only to find there's only the console inside. Will I get my wires and controller back from them or are they just gone now?

    have a broken 360, that iirc got the RROD. i imagine the cause is this thing

    . would replacing this part do the trick, or would its failure/breakage, caused more things to go bad?

    this thing has been sitting for years now, so i just wanna see if i can fix it easily/inexpensively. if not, its trash anyways.

    Create Xbox Console or Kinect Service Order | Xbox Repair

    From the link:

    How to pack and ship your device

    The email confirmation for your service order request contains packing and shipping instructions. For illustrated packing instructions, see How
    to pack your Xbox console or Kinect sensor for shipping    .

    Remove all accessories from the Xbox console or Kinect sensor, and remove any discs from the Xbox hard drive. If you send them, you probably won’t get them back.

    After your device has been packed, print your shipping label. Tape it to your package and then follow the shipping instructions in the confirmation email.

    I just received my chords and controller a day later in the mail! Thank you Microsoft Returns!! I'll make sure only to send the console next time though!

    thanks for reply...i click on "problem with device".... then select my registered xbox slim with the serial code, etc.... then "console will not power on", then i click next

    then i get this message on the following page

    "Request Service

    Sorry, we are unable to process your request at this time.

    An error occurred. Please try again."

    sometimes i get the next page though with my details on. i select the option of printing a label off and click next, and i get a similar message, with an error message,

    "An unexpected error has occurred.

    Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.

    Correlation ID: 9c45b3d2-0ee8-4ab3-8386-ba24a4c413f7

    Date and Time: 08/09/2013 12:41:52"

    and yes, im using that service centre link you posted :)

    i tried talking to someone before, they were quite helpful and said another more qualified person would phone me in a few minutes, but no one has phoned me as of yet. also i was given a free t-shirt for my avatar as a gift for my problems but that link gave
    me a message saying i found a glitch, lol...not having much luck! :(

    If you can not handle a claim through the Microsoft official site, call Microsoft Technical Support, your country, by phone. And make a request by phone. Prepare the serial number for that. And a description of the error.
