Xbox repair with with preinstalled game

Hi, i'll return my xbox to microsoft for repair (fan's problem) but having Ac origins preinstalled on my xbox, if they can't repair the console and send me a new one, will I got AC origins too ? Thanks.

Yes. In order for the console to already have games installed, someone else would have used it and left the console as their Home console. None of the Xbox Ones come with any preinstalled games.

Thanks for the very helpful reply. If I understand after a factory reset all the downloaded games will be gone, which is fine, but the preinstalled games will be playable with my own account until I get a new one or the original owner sets another console
as home. Thanks.

 

Games do not come preloaded on consoles. If the game was on the console, that means someone else left the console as their Home console. Since you don't own the game, you would need to purchase it in order to be able to continue playing it on a new console.

 

Sorry, I did not speak well, I installed assassin's creed with a code, so if they'll send me a new console, the code will be reusable or unique ?

 

Codes are one time use only, but anything you purchase or redeem on your account is tied to your account. So you can redownload it again from the ready to install section of your games and apps.
