Xbox repair time?

Discus and support Xbox repair time? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I sent my Xbox 360 S in for repair 12/13 and the Xbox online site doesn't update...still shows my Xbox to be returned 12/27 - 1/3.     Xbox repair time?


    I sent my Xbox 360 S in for repair 12/13 and the Xbox online site doesn't update...still shows my Xbox to be returned 12/27 - 1/3. Xbox chat and phone reps not a lot of help...they don't know status but "escalate" the issue and tell me the response time
    for escalation is 4 - 7 days! Anyone have experience in how long it takes them to repair a component?

    have a broken 360, that iirc got the RROD. i imagine the cause is this thing

    . would replacing this part do the trick, or would its failure/breakage, caused more things to go bad?

    this thing has been sitting for years now, so i just wanna see if i can fix it easily/inexpensively. if not, its trash anyways.

    2-3 weeks from what I've seen in the past IIRC. Less if you're closer to Texas, more if you're further away.

    It typically doesnt matter enat its being repaored for. They dont ship your console back to you, they grab a refurb off the pile and send yours into a queue

    In the united states, check how many delivery days by UPS to and fromTexas, and add 2-7 business days on top of that. You can use a credit card as a security deposit to get one shipped immediately

    Can depend on the fault.

    Mine had a hard drive failure which caused some OS issues as well, from the day i posted it to the day i received it back was 19 days including weekends. This was just after Christmas too which i'd imagine is a busy period.
