Xbox Repair Service

I’ve recently requested a repair for my Xbox One X as the fan is far to loud. However the UPS label lists the package as 4kg, when in total my package is about 4.1/4.2kg with the box. Will I still be able to ship it or do I need to somehow find the Percy
box and bubble wrap?....

Save yourself some time don't bother trying to get your Xbox repaired. Your best bet is to make sure when you purchase a console do it through Amazon where then at least you can get a full refund. I have been an avid Xbox gamer and supporter so when I was
not able to play on my project scorpio I was really upset. I never had a single issue with any consoles I've ever bought over the years until now when my Xbox stopped sending hdmi signal to my TV. I went through the necessary standard trouble shooting procedures
cycle power, change hdmi ports, change cables, changed tv's. Plugged in my old Xbox one into the same ports with the same hdmi cable and saw that it worked. I had no reason to doubt the customer support and repair service since I had never needed to use it.
So I submitted a repair order online as well as talked to them on the phone. They gave me two options send the unit in with a shipping label they provided which you have to pay for the boxing and protective stuffing. Then wait for two and a half weeks before
they start to do anything following another week of waiting for them to send it back to you. They don't give you any information regarding what components needed repair or replacement, and you can not call them to get more information. You finally get it
back and there is a letter in the box that simply says that "we did extensive hardware testing, and reset back factory settings." once again they do not really provide you any idea of what was actually done. Plug it in and the display is distorted pixels are
green where they fail to apply imaging. Loud static noise keeps going off through your TV. Within seconds of plugging it in you realize absolutely nothing was resolved. Your other option is to have them send you a replacement Xbox which will not be a project
scorpio edition. They will place a $500 hold on your card or bank account until you send in the broken Xbox and they receive it. So with all that being said where do I go next? I contact Xbox regarding the continuous issue which they tell me the only way they
can help is by goin through the exact same failed process again with still no guarantee of an actual repair. That'd be another 3 weeks. I luckily bought my Xbox through an Amazon pre order. I contacted Amazon and at first they were hesitant to offer a solution
since it'd been almost a year since I purchased it even though it is still under warranty. I provided them with the steps I took to resolve my issue with Xbox and they looked in their system and saw that they no longer make project scorpios. So Amazon gave
me a full refund of $565 which posted to my account within 4 days and that was before they even received my Xbox and accessories returned to them. I am finally satisfied with the outcome and am a proud owner of a new custom gaming pc case, cpu with cooler,
and a rog strix motherboard! Thanks Xbox customer support for nothing!
