    Has anyone had any problems with FedEx receiving incorrect order processing information from Microsoft/Xbox? I paid the extra fee of $10.50, "FedEx Office Store Drop Off - Expedited Shipping", that is advertised as the added option for which all I would
    need to do is take my Xbox 360 with the receipt and RMA # to a FedEx Office Store and they would provide a "free box, packing material and an expedited shipping label". This same information was also sent out in an order confirming email. I specifically
    went to a FedEx Office Store, as instructed, and was told that the order they received from Microsoft specifically stated that the customer was to provide their own box and packaging; that the order was for only printing out a shipping label (the clerk showed
    the order specifics, so I was able to verify that they weren't trying to simply get me to pay for something I had already paid for).

    I contacted Xbox Customer Service, as FedEx said they could only provide the already paid for box and packaging materials if Microsoft corrected the order MS sent to FedEx. Customer service was no help and basically did nothing to help fix the situation
    except give me a list of things that I could do on my own to fix Microsoft's problem. After I asked how this was customer service oriented, "Melanie" promptly ended the so-called "help" session.

    Before I cancel this order, I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem and, if so, were you able to resolve it and how?

    Xbox must be returned for repair

    I didn't get a shipping label to return my Kinect for repair ,I got a order receipt but on label for FedEx

    The Microsoft Console Repair Scam - the "Product shipped to customer" status that means nothing!

    In my last contact with support the lady told me that the reason that the FedEx site doesn't show the updated tracking info is because it's a reserve tracking number that FedEx gives Microsoft in advance. Microsoft then assigns each repair order a tracking
    number before it's entered into FedEx system. Once a number of repairs are deemed completed (a certain quantity) then Microsoft calls FedEx for pickup.Once FedEx receives the consoles they enter them into the system.

    Yeah, after posting this, I decided to get on the support chat. The guy who helped me told me to send it in and created a repair order, so I'll be sending it in tomorrow.

    Does Microsoft let you know what was wrong and / or repaired in order to fix the issue? Just curious, because I'll be adding a note with my console describing the issues I've encountered (and I have no idea if the support chat guy added any information with
    the repair order, because the last thing I want is to have my console returned in the same state).

    I choose the option to ship my Xbox 360 myself, I'm not using either of the FedEx options. When were they suppose to send it to me? I got the confirmation e-mail for the repair not 2 minutes after finishing the repair request.

    I too had to pay roughly $20 for FedEx to pack up my xbox. Does anyone else remember when Xbox would actually send you that perfect white box to send in a repair? What happened to that?

    And I feel ya on the Destiny issue. Frickin ridiculous. They shouldn't be doing a repair. They should just ship out all new xboxes because of the problem if this many people had it. Makes me want to cancel my Destiny pre-order badly, but I think it's too
    late now.
