xbox repair cost?

i dint word it to well. i will be sending it to microsoft just wanted to know how much it may cost before i do send it back just incase its not covered by the warrenty and i have to pay.

If your console is less than a year old, then you can send it back to Microsoft to get repaired for free, as it is still under warranty. If it's not under warranty any more, then you will be charged for the repair by Microsoft. You state that you would rather get it repaired without sending it back to Microsoft which would invalidate the warranty. In this case, no one on here can help you, as it is against the terms of the use of the forums to discuss self repair or 3rd party repair.

If the HDMI port is faulty and it is still within the warranty period, I'd be very surprised if they refused to do a Warranty repair (not unless they coudl prove it was damaged through misuse/deliberate). However, as you asked, you will find the out of warranty repair prices on this page:

It's a fixed price..in the United States, it is $299. However, as said, I can't imaging them refusing....I haven't ever noticed someone on the forum complaining that they refused an in-warranty repair once MS received it (though I obviously don't see a lot of threads)

It just depends what's wrong with it, sometimes it's best to buy a new one.
