Xbox remote not working.

My Xbox one remote came broken. When I push my left stick up on my controller and let go the cursor on my screen keeps going up, the same happens when I push the stick downwards. How do I solve this problem. I also tried to replace it through the support
and I can't find the PID number is on my controller. Can someone please help me?

I bought a Halo Reach: Wireless Controller and it's not working, I dont mean like it insnt glowing (home button) it is glowing but it wont like connect full.. Please help me.

The remote does work with volume and channels.. There is nothing blocking the way of the remote to the xbox.. but yet it still not working with the xbox.. and yes it is the sleek black remote too.. Not sure what is up..

It sounds like a faulty controller. If you bought it at a retail store you can take it back and get a replacement, No need to go through support. If you bought it from an online retailer contact them and ask what their return policies are.

If you still wish to go through support you can find the registration number underneath the batteries in your controller.

Hi Fredrik,

Doubt the remote will work with the Xbox as they have a remote for the console itself. Unable to locate any information with what other remotes will work.

I just got the xbox one IR remote and can confirm the menu and pop up menu buttons on the remote still do not work!! What a waste of money this remote was, these buttons work on the connected glass app on my iPad but not on the remote, unacceptable...

Go to System Settings.

Then Console Settings.

Choose Remote Control -> If your remote dont work with "xbox media" then choose "both remotes"

It's not just a lack of support for the Xbox One Media Remote. I have a Logitech Harmony Remote that works with the Xbox One and it also doesn't work with the YouTube App. The only device that seems to work with the YouTube app is the controller. It's a
shame since the Xbox One Media Remote works really well in other apps like Twitch,Crackle and Machinama.

How does the Smartglass work as a remote exactly? I can't seem to get it to work in harmony as a keyboard or remote for my Xbox at all :/
