    Xbox Remote Control on iOS doesn’t work as intended


    If you open the Media Player app on your Xbox with the Xbox app on iOS via Remote Control, the Xbox starts to do some weird glitch on the TV.

    I know the app is new and all, but I think they should have tested the app more before releasing it.

    Xbox app. Remote play not working on ios 16

    As a follow up, my wife’s phone works fine with remote play, as she doesn’t want to upgrade to IOS 16 and still runs IOS 15 on her phone. I can’t manually “downgrade” my IOS version to IOS 15 as Apple stopped signing that version. So a fix needs to be found as a large part of the gaming community is experiencing this issue Microsoft!

    Then I'm confused my bad CEC seems to be what I'm talking about because it allows everything to be controlled from one remote, no programming it just works. And I take it the xbox one intends to be that remote.

    So apple no longer do a signed download for iOS 15 … so there is currently no fox for this ? Apple/Microsoft need to sort this out as remote play is something I used all the time ….
