Xbox “relink account “ error

Hello all, I recently ran into an issue where after my controller died, I couldn’t join access discord through my Xbox as it now say I need to “relink account”. I’ve tried unlinking both accounts and relinking them and nothing has worked, any advice would be welcome

The connection works fine both on discord and the Xbox app, just the console is stuck in a perpetual “relink account” cycle

I understand how frustrating it must be that you're unable to link Discord, are other services linking to your account successful?

I'd recommend contacting Discord Support as the account connection is made on their end: https://support.discord.com/hc/requests/new

if you unlink the xbox account from the ubisoft account you can only relink that xbox account with that same ubi account again, you cannot unlink and relink to another account, this is a restriction in place by ubisoft and the same is done with epic too.

Guys they fixed it today! Just go to your linked accounts in settings and unlink it and then click on discord outside of settings on the Xbox and relink it on Microsoft edge and finally it worked today! I tried just hopping on today and hitting relink and that didn’t work you have to unlink the account completely and relink it and now it works!
