Xbox Reliability

Xbox is a good service, but it's getting more and more difficult to say this, I have three xbox 360 consoles now. Two that are broken and one that I just bought today. I don't want to keep buying the same console every year, it shouldn't be
this way, I would hate to just leave xbox and get a ps3 because I prefer xbox. Every year instead of treating myself to new xbox games during the holiday season, I have to buy another console because of issues regarding the xbox. I would much prefer playing
a good game with some friends or enjoying all the things xbox has to offer, but that is getting extremely hard to do. Please lower the cost of xbox 360 repairs or something, it isn't fun to have to buy new xbox when it isn't my fault for the overheating issues
or hardware issues that start to happen If you can lower the rate, contact me please.

I'm not saying I haven't hadany problems but hat you'll find is your more likely to see a thread where somebody is complaining about something going wrong !

Thousands more are out there playing there Xbox without any problems!

So good luck and I hope you can add yourself to the latter list !

Almost what Az said, I know 1 person who has had problems with their console, or so he said and I am not sure I believe him or if it wasn't his own fault.

However I would recommend it to anyone, and there will always be fault products at some point, but electrical products all have warranties.

 

Are you setting up the warranty of the consoles? Each console has a one year warranty from the date of purchase. If anything happens to the console before the warranty runs out you should set up a repair of the console. A warranty repair is free of charge.

 

Are these consoles bought new or used. Also, what is the error that you have

 

If they're new you should also look into purchasing an extended warranty when you purchase the console either from the retailer or Microsoft.

 

these are used consoles, dont have the money for a new one. I just wish they would decrease the repair price..

 

I see. When you purchase a used console you are purchasing whatever the previous owner did to the console or how old the console is. This is not something that you can blame Microsoft for.

I would think that with the amount of money you are putting out you would be better off purchasing a new console. There are a lot of sales on over the holidays to check out.

I wish there was more that someone here could do to help you out but recommending buying new is the best option here.
